If you haven't seen this seasons biggest box office smash and the best thing to ever be projected in 3D (ever) you may want to fork over the $12-$18.50 (yes, its up to $18.50 at the Arclight Hollywood) to see this spectacular film the way director James Cameron intended.
I will be the first to admit. I was HIGHLY skeptical going into it. All I'd heard for a two years was fuss over technology this, $300 million budget that, blah blah blah. It intrigued me but seemed so overblown. (And come on, who hasn't gotten their heart broken by the effects of raised expectations.)
As the lights went down, I sat back, crossed my arms, and said, "Ok, Cameron, lets see what all the buzz is about."
There was a very definitive moment where I wanted to walk out, find Mr. Cameron, and personally apologize.
The story, all be it simple, is clean and focused. He spends time introducing the new world so when it comes time to destroy it, you actually care.
And the 3D (until now, I've considered a gimic technology) served the to further the story and create an awesome experience.
Ok, enough adding on to the hype.
GO SEE IT!
